Happy Holidays!!!

I actually don't know what to post after the long days of not posting. Well, I have a long days of holiday vacation and I enjoyed it a lot. But as the days passed by I couldn't wait to work back. It's quite boring here and couldn't find the best place to unwind and relax. Though I'm already relax from work, however I'm still craving for those places that features relaxing atmosphere. I'm sure you know what I mean.

Anyways, New Year celebration is still coming and I can't wait for it. We will have great party drinks, foods, bonding and laughter with my family. And we will even have some games to play with prizes to win! Wooo!!! that would be so exciting. So 'till then I'll be coming back posting something here, I'm not yet out in the world for my everyday excursion of life. Hehehehehe... Happy Holidays!!!!

Tok-tok and his new way of life

Perhaps you were wondering why I posted this picture here. Hahahaha… Well, this rooster actually has its owned name, Tok-tok and his one of our pets. Actually, we have many different pets in our house. We owned fourteen love birds, two dogs a mini pinscher one and a crossbreed german shepherd. We also have two cats Kopeks and Punky.

Tok-tok in fact is one of my sister’s pet. We are all pet lovers actually but my other sister is the one who love pets the most. Anyway, my mama though never that against by Tok-tok’s presence however she is against on his daily feeding. You know rooster’s foods are a bit expensive. My mama hate to think that Tok-tok has no significant role in our house but just keeps on eating and sleeping all day. That is why my mama told my sister to sell it instead of letting him die the next day doing nothing. Though it’s hard for my sister’s side she forced to sell Tok-tok to our neighbor.

The day after Tok-tok was sell our neighbor came back to our house and very happy. He told us that Tok-tok just won the cock-fighting game. Hahaha… we just couldn’t believe it because Tok-tok is just one of our pampered pets and never been to fights since his birth. And we can’t event believe it because he’s too fat to fight and we were thinking that he can’t carry himself. But after that good news we were also happy though a little bit sad because Tok-tok is now living in a different world which is too far from the world he has been before living with us.

Madness???

I don’t know what to post actually, just having fun drinking RH with my sister (lol), when suddenly something struck on my mind. Hmmm… what would be your reaction if someone who you had been forgot for long and you don’t want to see anymore surprisingly came back for you? Indeed that is what happening to me now. I hate to share this but couldn’t resist myself to burst this out. So what I did is to share it with you, I wouldn't enumerate the details coz I guess it’s not that necessary. I just want you to know that I’m in chaos and just want to get rid with this dilemma I’m facing now. Just quite confusing and don’t know what to do. Perhaps I’m in the road of insanity (lol) just bear with me today; feel a bit dizzy with this stuff I’m drinking.

Struck by an old woman

Last Saturday, one of my workmates invited me to be in her birthday which was held in one of our city’s beach resorts. As we kept on talking on the other cottage with my other workmate as well, I noticed an old woman eating alone. Upon seeing her, my hearts seems broke into pieces. The food she ate was given by the people accommodating the beach. After eating she passed by our cottage then we asked her if she’s done eating. Then the old woman replied that she did and she’s totally full. Of course we are happy hearing it, however as we asked her where she live and where are her daughters or sons she told us that she has only two daughters. One is married while the other is ill. She told us as well that she was trying to stray because she’s hoping that someone could give her a little help to buy for her medicines. After hearing about it, I never hesitated to give her a little help. Though I gave her only what I can afford, I know it would mean to her a lot and at least though it’s really not that big amount of money at least it comes from my heart. Old women deserve to have a great place to live, relax and be served, instead of letting them stray and ask alms for others to live

Childcare center abandoned child?

I am exploring the internet today when suddenly I was struck with what I have read. Particularly in New South Wales, a mother of an 18 old month child was so much worried when she found no one in the childcare center where she put her son for a childcare. She was expecting that her son is locked and left unnoticed by the childcare center’s staffs.

Fortunately, Ms. Volmer the mother of the 18 year old child found one of the center’s staff, saw her grief and was also shocked, asking herself that this would never be happening. In my own opinion regarding this incident, the government should take part of this problem. Conducting an investigation within the childcare center is necessary. This would help minimize the risks and unexpected incidence like what happen to Ms. Volmer and to her son.

As I explore the youtube today, I found this music by REM which is one of my favorite songs. This is ideal for everybody who thinks they were alone when everything around them seems messy.

My sister in-law brought this cake like stuffs from Malaybalay Bukidnon. It is called Angel’s Log. I have never yet tasted this kind of stuff until my sister in-law brought one. Similar to its name; Angel Logs taste sweet which can be compared to an angel. This stuff is one of the specialties in Malaybalay Bukidnon. Malaybalay Bukidnon is located particularly in Mindanao, Philippines.

Cd0BlOggers on the go…

Last night, I joined the first meeting of cdo bloggers. It was my pleasure knowing that cdo blogger’s number of population increased. Cdoblogger’s aimed in its first meet up is to let Cagayan de Oro known not only in Mindanao but through the entire part of the Philippines, hoping as well that it will be known all over the country.

With the help of Cd0 bloggers, it would be a great possibility that more and more tourists will be visiting our city. In the first meet up also are discussed what are the effects of our blog towards the people of Cd0 or through the local Kagay-anons, how can we promote our city through our blog and more that concerns about Cagayan de Oro City.

Hopefully, through the regular meet-up of Cd0bloggers we will be more recognize and more Cd0bloggers will join.

Know this kind of dog? Hmmm…

Last Sunday, that was last November 2, 2008 very detailed hehehehe… Anyways, my aunt who is living now in Scotland was talking to us through yahoomessenger. We both shared pictures of us and her family as well. What makes me amazed was when she shared to us some pics of her doggies. I was really stunned looking on her doggies’ pictures since I haven’t seen this kind of breeding yet in my entire life! Hahahaha… funny isn’t? but true. My aunt’s dog seems like a little hippopotamus but she said her dog is one of a kind. Smart, friendly and sweet! Wew! It seems hard for me to believe it, hahahaha… I thought this kind of dog would not know how to smile or don’t have happiness at all, because as you can see her face? Hahaha… seems like a t-shirt that hasn’t iron yet. But as we can see on my aunt’s cam it seems my aunt’s dog is nice since she keeps on kissing her (Piper; the name of my aunt’s dog) and her dog kissed her back, very cutteee… How I wish I also have one dog of this kind, huh?? Seems this kind of dog is too expensive, and aside from that I don’t know Piper’s breeding, hehehe… Have you seen this type of dog yet? Do you know what type of breeding Piper have? Hmm…

Fyco is a biter?

Our dog Fyco is in fact a mini pinscher dog or a Zwergpinscher in Germany. He’s really one of a kind type of dog. Despite he’s being small he has a huge brain that makes him easily understood whatever things we teach to him. According to my research the meaning of the word pinscher is a biter while the word Zwerg means dwarf. What makes me laugh about the pinscher’s characteristics since they are known as “The King of the Toy Dogs”. Everything I read about miniature pinscher really fits with what Fyco has shown to us now. It’s nice to know that their breed is one of a kind.

Treasure hunting?

What would you do if you accidentally found pieces of different kinds of treasure? Probably the first thing that would strike your mind is you’re going to be rich of course. As I explored the internet today I read some news from BBCNEWS about the discovery of the treasure aging 1, 200 years old. The treasure is composed of 63, 000 pieces of silver, ceramics and gold which believed from the stories of Tang Dynasty emerging since the seventh and 10 centuries.

The fishermen who were living here in the Indian Ocean believe that there were underwater spirits that guards the wreck. In fact the fishermen sometimes were performing prayers and sacrificing animals like goat and spreading its blood everywhere as a sign of offering. We may never know the real reason why this incredible new discovered treasure came from, however there is really the real reason behind this story.

The Rosary; "A Garland of Roses"

As our Muslim brothers and sisters celebrating the end of their Ramadan, the Roman Catholic people on the other hand begins the Rosary. The month of October for Christian Catholic is known as the month of the Rosary. Right exactly at the first day of the month the rosary starts. The rosary was said to be the Latin for “a garland of roses” that made the rosary itself. The rosary on the other hand is composed of four mysteries, and these are the Joyful Mysteries which are recited on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays. The Sorrowful Mysteries is recited on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays of Lent. While the Glorious Mysteries which is recited on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and the Five Mysteries of Light which is recited on Thursdays.

The rosary is best performed by the family as it was said “The Family that prays together stays together”. It is also the sanctuary of almost every Christian Catholic whenever they have hidden problems. It is the best medicine for Christian Catholic who wants to have a peaceful and serene kind of life. Saying the rosary for us Christian Catholic is best to do everyday.

The risks of being upside down

Have you heard about David Blaine? He was not only the talk of the town in the West side but he is also famous all over the world because of his recent incredible stunt. He has just finished his three days up side down stunt to make him known again in Guinness Book of Records. But there are various rumors and news about his incredible stunts, regarding the bad effects on his health. Putting yourself up side down according to Dr. Paul Ford who was known a lecturer in exercise physiology at the University of East London could be risky since the “heart is supported by the effect of gravity”.

When you do the up side down trick, your blood will possibly pooling in the head and lungs which will be the cause of risky problems. In fact, the risk that you can get in lungs is a pulmonary oedema. Another thing, according to Prof. Grossman you may have a stroke if your blood pressure is too high which will possibly lead to early death. And because of this, Blaine never let himself hanging up side down the whole 60 hours. In fact, in every once an hour he had to come down for his medical check up. Being in the stunt of up side down is never advisable to anybody due to its high risks effect. Furthermore, his stunt is no joke which is not advisable for anybody of both young and old.

Behind his dark world gives light to others

Earlier this day, I was watching the entertaining Filipino show Rated K which is anchored by the prominent celebrity reporter Ms. Korina Sanchez. Personally, I loved watching her show since it is entertaining, interesting and you can get some lessons as well out of it. In fact, lately I was really pity on what her show was featured it talks about different kinds of work. But for me the most interesting person the Rated K featured there is the blind old man who was blinded since he was four years old. I just can say that the man is amazing. I forgot the old man’s name but definitely he is blind but surviving. I really salute on the bravery of that old man.

When he was in his adult age he left he’s home and traveled alone in Manila despite the condition that he has. It is because he doesn’t want to depend more on his parents, he traveled alone and reached Manila after riding with the train. He depends more on God that give him confidence in dealing in places he never seen and never been with since he was blind. And because God is too good, Mr. Old blind man survived his life, having a family of his own. At the morning he sell “ice drop” for his family and at the evening he’s selling “ballot”. If someone will buying his stuff Mr. Old man doesn’t even know how much money his customer is given him, so therefore it is considered a risk because of the possibilities that his customers might cheat him. However, despite that he only answered that God will be the one who will judge them.

If we try to analyze, Mr. Old blind man is not just a tough man with self confidence facing the world of life but he is as well one of the best example and role model of those lazy people who are complete but doesn’t want to work at all, but love doing nasty things abusing themselves by doing drugs which leads them to robbery or other illegal activities. Why not think about it? If we want to survive in this world that we are living, start working now and live normally there are many works everywhere but sometimes we are being blinded of laziness which is not good at all.

Wind significance

As I explored the internet today, I’ve read in BBNews which titled “When the wind doesn’t blow” by Simon Cox. With its title itself I was already appalled and a bit scared. I read his story that talks about how significant the wind is in Britain as their sourced of electricity. However it says there somehow that by the year 2020 it would be hard for the authorities in Britain how to manipulate the usage of wind for electricity. That is why they are trying to look for the best way how to make their source of electricity remains normal since they are very much dependent on wind energy as their source of electricity.

On the other hand, what makes me scared as well is the fact that what if the wind will eventually decrease from its normal density as the years run forward? You know I wasn’t only signifying on Britain’s situation but as well as for everybody’s condition including animals, insects, plants and other living thing which highly dependent on the wind. Since most of the winds are being dominated with pollution, we can never say that the winds we breathe nowadays are purely clean but of course it is already mixed with pollution. The sad thing about it since, we human beings are aware of the pollution happening on the air but it seems to us that we never care about it all since there are still some people who were abusing the purity of the wind.

As we sail on the boat of our life, hopefully we as well human beings should consider the environment that we have now, protect them from pollution since there are still next generation who will follow our steps. What would be their condition if since birth they are already exposed to the corrupting activities of their folks? They would be the one suffering at the end. So starting today, lets help the mother earth live as normal as she is before, lets start it from cleaning the air.

Punky talks?! Isn’t possible???

I was really amazed after our eldest sister told me that our cat named Punky talks, uttering her name. Mostly, every early morning about four to five a.m. Punky used to awake us asking for food. He used to kiss us dipping his lips on our lips too just to awake us with his roaring groorrr voice. If still we don’t wake up he tried to sit each of our faces with his huge belly tummy. Though Punky is quite a lazy type of cat, we really love him because he’s a sweet and loyal kind of cat.

One early morning as our eldest told me, she was half sleep and half awake when she suddenly seen Punky coming on her bed. She said Punky just uttering her name “mommy Melay, mommy Melay”. My sister was thinking that maybe it was just her dream, but when she was wide awake she really saw Punky just right in front of her looking directly at her with his huge sweet eyes and with his groorrr voice asking for food again. I was really laughing after hearing it, coz there are some beliefs that when you were like with my sister’s situation it is probably possible that it is true. However, despite the reality that there is no credible proof that Punky can really talk (hehehehe…) at least it sounds cute for us and it’s just a sign that he loves us back too! Well, I still believe that all animals can talk in their different and unique way of talking not only for the animals itself but as well as to human beings. But I do hope that they can talk as well like us so that they can shout on whatever grievances they feel especially to those abuse animals from all over the world.

Johnny Depp; behind success

Admittedly, after watching his film Edward Scissor’s Hands I became one of the avid fans of Johnny Depp. He’s not only handsome but he’s one of the best and hunk actors I’ve ever seen with great performance in acting. My idol’s real name is John Christopher “Johnny Depp II. Depp was born on June 9, 1963. Before he became famous actor, Depp surpassed various trials considering his family itself. In fact, Depp leave scars on himself practicing self-harm since he was a child due to family problems as well as being drowned with insecurities.

At the age of 12 Depp’s mother bought him a guitar that encourage him to set garage bands. Eventually, perhaps due to his interest of the music he was dropped out from high school and chose to become a rock musician. As the time and years crawled on, Depp was married with the girl named Lori Anne Allison known as a make-up artist and a sister of his bass band player and singer. However, their marriage never last and ended it to divorced. Before they ended up with the divorce, his wife Anne introduced him to one of the famous actor Nicolas Cage. Cage was the one who encourage him to pursue acting which became successful.

Eventually, Depp’s acting career became successful, many movie films has been offered to him which give him the opportunity to live life normally. He has been awarded due to his great and incredible acting. One of his most famous films was Pirates of the Caribbean and Sweeney Todd where he claimed millions of fans all over the world. And because of that, Depp is the best actor for me.

Babies for drug test?

Recently I’ve read in google news that there are about 49 babies died in India in one of its top hospitals due to drug testing. It has been said that the country has been designated as the world’s number one destination for any clinical trials. Particularly at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences or AIIMS is the country’s known influential medical college and public hospital which is famous of its cheap and affordable services to the public especially to the poor people.

Rumors spread that most of the companies who drug tests babies which leads to death are companies from the Western countries. According to some, most of the babies are being used of developing new discovered drugs. Most of the babies on the other hand are seriously ill before they take imparting of the clinical trials. With the children being used in the clinical trials, 2, 728 babies were under a year old age. Due to this, fears in India increases especially to parents who have babies with them since they have sense that the reasons of all these incidents is because of the lacking of well-trained staff and due to lacking of medical ethics and practices.

Not only in India but all over the world, practices like this should be stop. We should have hand in hand helping each other to thwart medical practices without proper medical experiences and abilities. We should help one another not to spread these bad practices that we just have heard and read from the country of India.

Love not war please???

Philippines particularly in Mindanao is experiencing heinous war against the terrorists MILF and the military. And because of that there are many innocent civilians who get killed with no right justice at all. This issue is spreading not only in Philippines, Mindanao itself but all over the world. With regards to this issue we should not just sit there and wait for the military to do their job but we should as well do something which could not harm and loss innocent lives. I know it would be quite difficult to do, however this is the only recommendation and suggestion I can share. Why not spread love and not war? In this crisis time that we experienced, we should start renewing and uplifting the word LOVE within ourselves, because everything starts from ourselves and not from others. Let love spread and not war.

Is contraceptive pills considered as abortion?

In this recent period, we have noticed that the more we are experiencing crisis in life the more families or women from the different countries are giving birth. This is the reason why scientists together with the Department of Health and Human Services are looking for the best way how to thwart this fast growing population of all the countries. This is the reason why contraceptive pills emerged.

Due to this, the used of pills to help reduce population growth as well as reduce the crisis of one family and the country are being implemented. There are some who were agreed with the program and some are not because of their different contradicting reasons and point of views. Most of those who were agreed with the program are those families who wanted to have only a few numbers of families in order for them to never experience any difficulties especially in financial matters. However, those who didn’t agree are those people who were religious devotees such like priest nuns and among others since they seen it as an abortion.

I myself torn between the two banging with having great and seems trusting reasons. We have to balance well where we should stand, and think of the best thing which gives benefits for ourselves and for the whole world as well.

Radiation against human cells

I have been working as Web Content Writer for almost a year and I have noticed something that change into my inner self. I easily forget and I easily feel dizzy though I’m not drunk at all. Some other times my eyes are swelling and it feels hurt every time I blink it. Then a curios question emerged behind my mind. Is it because of my recent work? Probably yes.

According to my research the biological effect starts with the ionization of atoms. It is indeed a process of mechanism which can cause damages to the human tissue and any other materials. Accordingly, when the ionizing radiation absorbed by human tissue caters adequate energy to eliminate electrons from the atoms that form the human tissue. And when the electron which was shared by the two atoms which will be the one responsible in forming a molecular bond is extricated by the ionizing radiation, there will be possibilities that the bond will be broken and eventually the molecules will unfortunately fall apart.

Basically, this is the best sample as well as understanding what radiation can do to our cells and how it can damage it. The chromosomes has been designated as the most critical part of the cell when being damage since it is the one that contain the genetic information as well as instructions being required in order for the cell to execute its function. Aside from that, the chromosomes as well plays an important role as a repair mechanisms at work which help repair cellular damage which already include the damage of chromosomes. If I wouldn’t explore, perhaps I wouldn’t know some of radiation’s causes against our inner self particularly to our cells.

Stop crime; follow some tips

I was reading the book entitled Murder at 40 below. The book has various stories which feature different kind true stories of crimes. I was intrigued with the first story since it talks about heinous killings. It is a story that talks about a man who has unfortunate psychological problem. The murderer was named is Robert Hansen; most of his victims are prostitutes, women who used to work in clubs. He had been killed of about 49 women in different places, different ways in different time. The crime had been generally solved for how many years before the suspect was put in about 461 years and a lifetime in prison without parole.

Today’s generations, rampant of crimes are happening to us. It might hard to believe but most of these crimes are mostly influenced by the high-tech way of living we have now aside from the latter condition. Through the use of the internet, different kinds of media and people surround us. With these it contributes a vast array of crimes to our society. To avoid one of the victims of any crimes following some tips can help.

Ø Negotiate with the public agencies or organizations near you. Don’t hesitate to ask for help if you found something your community needs.

Ø Let some youth in your community to have their spare time volunteering, or systematize recreation, part-time work and tutoring programs.

Ø Organized a neighborhood watch or maybe a community patrol with the help of some police as well.

Ø Immediately report to the police if you seen something unusual happening in your society without any hesitation.

Ø And suggests with the local officials new ways how to seize criminals in your society.

Bisexual species; isn’t it possible?

I was shock after reading what I just browsed. Yes indeed, I thought bisexuality matters only are present to humanity, but yes also for different kind of animal species. In fact studies shown that same-sex couplings are common and well-known in the animal kingdom. The scientists have seen such same-sex going on in both male and female and even old and young. Aside from that they also find it in social and solitary creatures and also on branches of the evolutionary tree from insects to mammals.

However, unlike the human being, animals cannot be designated as gay or straight. Researchers explained that animals which are engaged in same sex flirtation or for partnership doesn’t mean for spurn heterosexual encounters. The activity is in fact normal to their society. Most of the reasons why they engage to same-sex activity according to the studies are to diffuse from social tensions, protect their young ones and generally because they find that it gives them fun. Others think that animals or insects can be compared to robots but scientists believe that just like human beings, animals as well have feelings and they are responding to it whatever they may feel.

Hopping to another planet?

In today’s generation, we can never deny the fact that the earth is already over populated. Weird, but what if suddenly we just realized that we cannot already breathe because of much population we have? Isn’t possible? Perhaps yes. That is the reason why, prominent and intelligent scientists all over the world joined powers to help figure out what other planet can do to the humanity of the planet earth.

With the vast studies of the scientists, they found out that the planet Mars has a similarity of the planet earth. In fact, the new studies found out that the vast region of Mars contained rivers and lakes when the planet was young. The studies also shown that the water subsisted for quite some time which mostly in standing pools, in which beneficial to the formation of basic organic matter.

Since the scientists have no more evidence yet that the planet Mars can be a good habitat of the humanity, still they are looking for great evidences if the planet can really be a good place to live normally just like to the planet earth. If possible this would happen, and then the planet earth will never have a problem of over population. And perhaps have a better place from the other planet.

Burj Dubai; the tallest skyscraper standing on earth

One of the most controversial news nowadays is the construction of the world’s tallest building; Burj Dubai. It has been said that the construction began on September 21, 2004 and expected to be occupied next year and that would particularly on September 2009. Imagine the construction of the building takes of about five years just to create an incredible breath taking skyscraper. Recently, the building has been the center of attraction all over the world not only because of its amazing tall height but as well as its unique design. There are millions of people nowadays that waited for the opening of the building.

The building is composed of 30, 000 homes which include nine hotels, 19 residential towers, the Dubai Mall and the Burj Dubai Lake which is a man-made of about 0.12km or 0.05sq mi. The reason why the building was constructed it is because of the government’s decisions to spread their economy as well as tourism. The tallest building gives excitement to people to witness its launching and services to the public.

Striking Niagara Falls

The Niagara River was said to be the inheritance of the last Ice Age. During the past 18, 000 years, the southern part of Ontario has been dominated with ice sheets of about 2-3 kilometers thick. As the time goes on, the ice melted northward in which it bursts out massive amount of meltwater into these basins.

As the River spanning from the Canadian-United States International Border as well as the Province of Ontario and the State of the New York, there were about 12 million tourists come to visit the river because of its captivating and striking scenery. People in the United States have been tried to control the current flow of this massive water flows, however they failed to do it, even the modern engineers have failed. And most of the water nowadays is supplied through underground channels and pipes towards the nearby electric power stations. Today, the continuous rushing of tourists coming in here has been increased all year round to witness this incredible panoramic scenery in the United States.
