Unfortunate Valentines at Pulse Disco Pub

Last Saturday that was February 14 Valentines Day. It was supposed to be the hearts day. But since my boyfriend is not here I opt to date my mom and at night having fun in Pulze disco pub with my sister and some friends. The night is full of fun and vibrancy; there are a lot of night goers inside. In fact, the time we went there we never immediately got inside because the pub could not accommodate us all. Pulze disco pub is one of the most rushing disco pubs here in our city. Both locales and foreigners came dancing and have fun here. Every day this disco pub is open to the public and every time it is open it never had been emptied and in fact always been filled with disco lovers.

Unfortunately, just like the same date and the same night. We really had a bad experience in this famous Pulze disco pub. Why? Because one of the guards in Pulze just discarded us. Some of our friends came for us in Pulze and because it’s already about 3am in the morning, they decided just to wait for us in the somewhat receiving area of the disco pub. One of the waitresses gave our friends chairs to sit with, but what one of the guards did was he suddenly pull the chair out even when our friends still sitting there. And he told us “dili pwede mag standby diri” (you were not allowed to stay here”) and try to push us out. What a damn! We’re not animals and we are one of the costumers here! We should be treated right. Why should he told us in the right manner and tell us in a nice way that it is not allowed to stay there? There is no need to push us out because we can understand just a little respect. I still never forget the guard’s family name, Mr. Arang. For the manager or the owner of Pulze, we ask for your cooperation if ever you read this blog to talk to Mr. Arang and clarify about this matter to have a good relationship with your costumers.

The Artists

I was joining our 61st alumni last night and was really delighted that I have seen some of my batch mates before. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen some of my classmates so I just joined my sister’s table together with her batch mates as well. One of her previous colleagues was there too, his name is Nicholas Aca. He’s actually one of the famous artists here in our city Cagayan de Oro. He had grabbed a lot of awards after joining various contests before. In fact, one of his masterpieces was now been displayed perhaps in one of the museums in China. Recently, he is now working in one of the universities in our city; which is the Capitol University. Nic is now promoting Julie Lluch presentation in Capitol University. She is also artists who were going to share things about the Earthworks.
