Five great resolutions to consider for job hunters this year of the tiger

The year 2010 is just here, and we could not stop thinking of the many changes that would about to happen along the days and months. Every New Year most of us wants change whether within ourselves or within our surroundings. Traditionally, resolutions have been made every New Year. If you are one of those who wants change especially if you are looking still for a job, perhaps the resolutions below could help you achieve your goals in life.

1. Stay Positive—though this kind of resolution is considered as one of the most difficult kind of resolutions; however it is as well the most important resolution to follow if you want to get a job faster compare to your other friends. Most of the employers could feel you, your skills and attitude instantaneously. This is why despite all the situations you had been it is always been great being always optimistic.

2. Broaden your job horizon—do not limit yourself to only one kind of jobs. It would be a good idea if you would broaden your horizon when looking for a job. Though you do not have the skills or capabilities of that certain kind of jobs but if you try you would eventually learn it along the process. This is a good way as well that you could discover the hidden talent that you have.

3. Prove yourself during all the interviews—if you had been just on an interview and you get disinterested after the 5 minutes meeting don’t get discourage immediately. Stay genuine and try to get engaged in whatever the interviewer is discussing with you. Because you will never know that the job they meeting over with you are not the job you were expecting and instead they would offer great job for you.

4. Consider relocating yourself for a position—try to relocate yourself in a new city, town or province for a job position offered to you. Try to look for large establishments with offices around your country so that you could get skills and some ideas where the skills you have are needed.

5. Always prepare yourself for any interviews—always be prepared. It does not matter if you were interviewing to be a cashier or any big position the most important thing to think is that you are well prepared of your interview time.
