Holy Week at Plaridel

I spent my Holy Week at Plaridel Mindanao Philippines. The travel from our city which is Cagayan de Oro City to Plaridel took 7 hours. It was really tiring and yet it feels great and I had a lot of fun while we were at the road way to the province. We passed vast arrays of rice fields, coconut trees, rivers and pristine blue beaches. I can’t resist myself to take some photos while our cute car was in motion. While we were in Iligan city, I was amazed with what I saw, a Tartanilla!!! Wew! Yes I admit, I’ve heard about it hundred times since I was young and seen it in pictures and books for how many times, but I never seen it personally until we dropped at Iligan city. Sounds funny isn’t it? But I admit it’s true.

However, the most interesting part of our trip was when we passed on the burned houses done by the MILF or Moro Islamic Front terrorists. Yes, when we passed there I felt a little bit nervous but thank God we passed safe even when we were in our way back home. In fact, we also passed the previous house of our Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and took some photos of it. After the 7 hours of journey at last we arrived. With my sister Daisy, my niece Shannen and my sister inlaw’s niece Cherry and nephew Junnel we dragged our feet to their nearby beach after our feet landed on their place. The sea breeze is sooo relaxing and I can’t stop myself but drench my feet to the sea. For four days of staying in Plaridel, I really enjoy it all and hoping that I can visit there again.
