Iraq’s peaceful election could be a start of peace

For how many years, the war in Iraq seems no end. People living in this messy country hope to find peace and prosperous ways of living, but it seems that the more the years grow old the more it became worst. Perhaps even when I’m not yet born, the controversial fight in Iraq has already been started. Some says that the main reason of the war is because of the religion. It might be true, but for now that we are experiencing global crisis we are hoping that this controversy will be over.

The newly elected US President Barack Obama was very happy knowing that Iraq was finally holding a peaceful election. Who would not be happy about the news? In fact I am too is very happy knowing it. We might been far away from Iraq but if we would let this things to happened, every nation would be affected because there would be possibilities that the Iraqi terrorists would invade any other countries since we are all connected as part of the UNITED NATION.

With the news about the peaceful election in Iraq, we are hoping that this would be the stepping stone to have a peaceful and brighter Iraq community. With the newly elected leaders, perhaps Iraq would be intelligently ruled and will eventually have a good future ahead.

Overcoming the Worldwide Crisis

Lately when I’m at work my sister chatted me, telling me that our youngest sister was having problems with her tuition fee. Our youngest sister is hopefully graduating this coming March and we can’t wait for that day. My aunt who is living now in UK Scotland is the one who supported my sister in school. But lately, I was saddened with the news I heard from my mama. My aunt only sent enough money for my sister’s tuition fee. My mama never expects it because every time my aunt sends us money, it is more than the tuition fee she gave to my sister. My aunt said crisis there continuous to grow and she faced dilemmas how to budget her money. Indeed I understand my aunt, because here in our country also we faced crisis every now and then. We can never deny the fact that despite how big our salary, it is never yet enough how to use this money wisely. Tsk… tsk… tsk… I hope someday we can overcome this worldwide problem that we have right now.

Barack Obama against the Abortion Issue

Curious about the updates of America, so I crept on my computer and explored the internet about the situation of the country since Barack Obama just sit down on his new position. The first black American president ever happened in the history of America. Very excited, I immediately type-in his name and the search engine leads me to BBCNEWS.

I was appalled with what I read. Since after the inauguration of the president, Obama was already been bombarded with controversies and issues, well not unless he were not a prominent person. Anyways, according to what I read Obama was been criticized over the issues regarding the abortion matter. It was stated that the president was signing on the orders that ban on abortion funds without the coverage by the media.

Some people in America are against the issue since they believed that Obama is trying to allow abortion legal as the best way to control population increase. But there are groups who were also agreeing in Obama’s point of view because it seems to them that American women are given the freedom whether they should abort or not in any circumstances.

What do you think of this issue? If abortion would be legalized, do you think it would help retrieve the economic downfall of America?

Rain says: It's not over yet!

Waaaa... After last night, I was thinking that the rain would never come back. Then I was wrong. When I wake up this morning, the rain starts pouring again. Cold wind starts to blow, and I started to feel worry. Not only because of the unfortunate flood victim people, also because I couldn’t wash my clothes, especially my uniforms. What happen to our weather here? It seems that the rain has never an ending. Could it be possible that it will continue until next week? Oh God please don’t let it be. I miss the sun, when is he coming back? Goodness it can’t always be like this. I really hope that next week, the rain will pity on us and give the sun to shine again.
