Rain rain go away!

Since last night, the rain never stops yet and I couldn't stop thinking of my workmate since they have been one of those victims of the flood just last week. Our neighboring sitio was once again been devastated with the atrocious flood and I'm pity of them. Though I can say we are fortunate compared to them but we are still affected with the phenomenon. As a neighboring sitio we can't just stare on these people and do nothing, but it is as well our responsibility to lend a hand to them. I just hope that the flood occurred will never be the same last week, which left various damages of houses.

Jo's Manok; Best Chicken Restaurant

This time I will share to you my experienced eating one of the best cuisines I've tasted here in our city. I actually have been eating many times in this chicken restaurant but I don't have the time of taking some pictures on their specialty because I don't previously own a camera. Fortunately I already owned one now, so the moment we ate there which was before New Year celebration I never let the time taking the foods we ate. This chicken restaurant by the way serves mainly chicken cuisines though they also served sea food like crabs, fish and among others. By the way, this chicken restaurant is mainly located in our city Cagayan de Oro City Philippines in Yacapin Street. This chicken restaurant is famously named as "Jo's Manok".

On the other hand, below are some of the foods we ate in "Jo's Manok" restaurant

Jo's Manok Specialty; "Chicken Inato"

One of Jo's Manok's desserts; "Tapioca"

Ahhh... cold Ice Tea!!!

Holy Black Nazarene

Every year month of January, the ninth day of the month is the commemoration of the Black Nazarene. The famous statue of Jesus Christ which has a black façade due to the various calamities it had overcome. Accordingly, the original color of this holy statue was white, however because of the atrocious events that it encountered such like earthquakes, fire and bombing the holy statue’s color turned into black. Fortunately, despite those phenomenons this incredible holy statue was never been physically damage though its original white color turned to black.

It has been said that this Black Nazarene is believed to be miraculous and it can cure different type of illnesses and grant devotee’s prayers. Recently today, the increasing populations of the Black Nazarene devotees continue. The original Black Nazarene is housed in Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene particularly in Quiapo, Manila, Philippines. Today it already has two replicas, the original is permanently housed in the latter Minor Basilica, the other was designated somewhere in Luzon and just recently the 2nd replica was designated in Mindanao, particularly in Cagayan de Oro City.

Just this day the commemoration of the feast of Black Nazarene was successfully held in both regions of Luzon and Mindanao. As expected countless of devotees are joining the procession.

In Connection with the Epiphany Commemoration

I just went to church today and felt relieved after the mass. But what I have been getting out from the homily is the commemoration of the Epiphany or the Three Kings which was in connection with the tragic tragedy happening in our city at this moment. Yes indeed, our neighboring sitio is unfortunate of having been devastated with the great flood because of the simultaneous rains here in the past days. Perhaps you were wondering what would be the connection of the Epiphany homily in this tragic phenomenon. The homily was trying to pinpoint that Epiphany is not just about celebrating the giving gift of the three kings towards Jesus but it also enlighten our minds that in this recent moment you, me and everyone of us are considered as the three kings who were accountable in sharing gifts to this unfortunate flood victim people. There are countless people nowadays that need our help. In fact, if we are keen enough to see our surroundings you will be amazed and realized at the end that we are blessed of having been abounding with various graces God has given us. And because of this, it would be our time to share these blessings to others just like what the three kings have done during the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. So, even just at this moment, be one of those three kings who were sincere enough to lend a hand to others who needs your help.

Caught at heart by the "Twilight" movie

I have been wondering what would be the story behind this famous and talked in town movie “Twilight” why there are millions of movie goers watching this. In fact, the movie is still been release in some of the movie houses in our city. Since I myself was intrigued by the movie, I never passed my curiosities to watch the movie. Now I know, after I watched twilight why people seem their eyes are formed of hearts because the movie was totally amazing! You will be in-love with the sweet words Edward Cullen uttered to Bella. How sweet he is! Hahahaha… Call me crazy but I love the movie. Even me, if I were Bella who have a sweet, caring and loving boyfriend like Edward I’ll never mind his being a vampire. After all, behind his horrible characteristics as what people are expected, lives the heart that knows what love is in a very sincere way. Anyways, for those who haven’t seen the movie yet here is the sweet trailer I get from Youtube which I find sweet and captivating.
